Yep. It’s that time of year again. Commence list-making!

In the fourth part of their five part best-of-2008 series, Paste has revealed their top 20 films of the year. Interesting list. I agree with it for the most part but would have loved to see Shotgun Stories somewhere down the line. Like say, top five.

And where are films like Flight of the Red Balloon, Synecdoche, New York?

    Recommended films: HONEYDRIPPER? WHAT! That movie was slow, poor, and rivaled by “The Happening” for forced dialougue.

    SO excited for Benjimen Button though.

    Since when did “slow” turn into a reasonable objection regarding the aesthetics of a film?

    Have you seen 4 Months, 3 weeks, 2 days, btw?
