Worthwhile Interviews: Dylan, Sigur Ros, Holland, McCracken

Times Online posted an interview with Bob Dylan back in June. Its quite exensive and even more interesting. Absolutely worth a long look. In fact, it’s largely about how some of Dylan’s own paintings were featured in an exhibit.

– A few days ago Paste caught up with Jolie Holland, formerly of The Be Good Tanya’s. Holland’s recent release, The Living and the Dead, is one of my favorites of the year.

– And Pitchfork spoke with Sigur Ros‘ bassist Georg Holm. The discuss the origin of their latest album’s title, Gobbledigook, about songs sung in English, and about performing as a four piece band.

Curator Magazine recently posted part 1 of their 2 part interview with singer/songwriter Sandra McCracken (wife of Derek Webb, and a fantastic musician!)
They talk about her new, forthcoming album Red Balloon and the adventure that is recording.
